Connect any MCP-compliant tool to Fin with a custom URL
Overview
Fin supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), letting you connect any tool or data source that exposes an MCP server. Add a custom URL and auth credentials to connect any MCP-compliant server, or use one of the ready-made templates for Stripe, Linear, or Shopify.
How it works
Go to Settings → Integrations → Data connectors. You'll see a section for adding connectors from popular apps powered by MCP servers. Currently available for US-hosted Intercom workspaces only.
Choose a ready-made template for Stripe, Linear, or Shopify, or click Custom MCP to add any MCP-compliant server using a URL and auth credentials. Authorize via OAuth or provide an access token.
Select which tools Fin can use from the connected MCP server, configure input parameters, and use the connector directly in Fin or add it as a step in Workflows and Tasks.
Configure
MCP connectors support both read and write operations where the connected tool allows it. Currently available for US-hosted Intercom workspaces only.
